AP bowling party!!

the AP department totally exceeded their pcard spend goal for the year 2011, so we got a bowling party!!!  even though i've transferred to a different department, i was there for all of 2011 and contributed to the pcard spend so i got to go to go!!!

it was super fun and held at the garage on crapitol hill.

i've been to the garage before, but only to play pool so this was nice to see the bowling part of the place.  they opened an hour early for us and we rented out the downstairs bowling:
dawn, nicole, rebecca and i bowled on a lane and we had super good bowling names: superfabulous, innerdelish, peaches and sassafrass respectively.

rebecca had a little problem with her bootie, but she bowled awesome in spite of it!

it was a neat little space with 6 bowling lanes:
i'm not too sure why snoop dogg was on the television or even why the tv was there, but whatevs...

nicole and i picked out fab balls!

and i conquered the computerized scorekeeper:

a good time was had by all!

jane was kept company by beer.

we ended up with really close scores at the end of the game, and peaches wasn't even there after the 3rd frame!  she had to go get the booty off!
i like that the initials of our bowling names was SIPS.  awesome.

then the wellsfargo peeps and windi had some words for everyone on how fantabulous we did for the year!

YAY!!  that was funs!  thanks windi :)

urban craft fair

last weekend was the urban craft uprising at seattle center!  it's a great thing to go to before the holidays.  it's all handmade crafts from the northwest.  most of the awesome stuff is totally beyond my price range, but i was able to find alistair a present there so it will be from maya and i.
this year i went with grace, miss maya, dawn, jane and jane's daughter hannah.  it was totally fun!  i thought the doors opened at 10, so we all got there at 10, but they didn't open until 11. oooops.  sorry!  it was really cold out so i'm pretty sure i apologized like 50 times.  it was really crowded in there, so i didn't actually take any pics inside the show, i just took these two:

i did a lot of staring at our feet while we were waiting in line.

grace and maya were trying hard to be mad at me.

it was super fun and even though i saw a lot of the same vendors from last year, there was some new stuff and it was all really awesome.  it was also great to hang out with dawn and jane outside of work and to hang out with hannah.  maya and her are the same age, but had never met.  they seemed to get along fine and a good time was had by all.

i got shit done...

it was the ging's birthday last wednesday, so i started late and made her a stuffed rabbit this last weekend.

and LOOKIT them ears! sooooo cute!:

it's all finished!
this was my first attempt at making the rabbit and i got his little ears too far back on his head, so next time i'll put them up further.  he's still stupid cute though.

then on monday after work i went over to top pot, where she works, and gave her her prezzie.  ginger loooved her new rabbit!  i'm always so happy when i make someone something they REALLY love!
she works at the original top pot, which is downtown.  we have one 5 blocks from our house, but the one downtown is the neatest.

then on my way home i realized that i haven't had quiche since we moved from the last house, which is almost exactly one year ago!  so i made quiche for dinner tonight.  broccoli, onion, cheddar and parmesan.
it's about to go into the ovens:

it's really too bad that alistair eats so differently from me, because this quiche was GOOD!
aaaaand i'm gonna have it for lunchie-poo tomorrow!

and the last thing for today is i had a custom order for 3 camera straps and whipped those out tonight while i was in between dinner and whatnot:
they're for a girl in california, sarah, who is a photographer and has already bought quite a few straps from me.  she has a couple websites of her own:

and i'm really liking the lace i put on this one:
i had just enough of it to make her strap.  gold and white. mmmmmm.....
